Brazing of beryllium with aluminium brazing alloys

摘要

It is shown that the activation of the surface of beryllium components with titanium results in efficient wetting with aluminium brazing alloys. The experimental results show that the application of aluminium brazing alloys, alloyed with titanium, produces high-quality butt and lap brazed joints with the tensile strength of up to 150 MPa.
