As we have already seen earlier in this series of articles, commencing in the early 1980's, Controlled Atmosphere Brazing, (CAB), has evolved to become the leading technology for the manufacture of aluminium heat exchangers for the automotive industry. Consequently, this article is concerned solely with this aspect of the brazing of aluminium.
