Therapeutic complications and follow-up in a dog with atopic dermatitis

In this case report, the therapeutic follow-up of a four-year-old, male, castrated Shih Tzu with atopic dermatitis is described. The treatment first consisted of prednisolone (Prednisolonen followed by oclacitinib (Apoquel (R)) and afterwards lokivetmab (Cytopoint (R)). Furthermore, the diagnosis of AD and the different treatment options are discussed. In addition, more information is given about lokivetmab (Cytopoint (R)), a new therapeutic agent.
