NIGHTHAWKS AND NIGHTJARS OF THE REGION OF SAUL, FRENCH GUIANA

Surveys of the avifauna of Saul in the interior of French Guiana in 1976 and 1977 produced a list of birds observed or collected there (Dick et al, 1984). Thiollay (1986) compared the avifauna of Saul with those of two other sites in French Guiana, the Pic du Croissant and Mont Belvédère.Noteworthy observations on birds of the region of Saul were presented by Ingels (2001) and Ingels et al. (2003).
