ORIGINALLY LAUNCHED in 2014, with the revised 7.5 version available here in the UK from early 2017, the e-Golf is currently Volkswagen's primary protagonist in the zero emissions electric vehicle field, along with the e-up! The two all-electric models supplement the two low-emissions PHEVs (petrol-electric plug-in hybrids) the Golf GTE hatchback and Passat GTE (Saloon and Estate) which we have road-tested previously.
