摘要

Copper(I)acetylides are postulated intermediates in a number of widely used organic transformations.The oxidative homocoupling of terminal acetylenes,discovered by Glaser in 1869,is probably the most studied of these transformations.The scope of the reaction was extended in subsequent studies by Baeyer,Straus,Reppe,and Eglinton.Heterocoupling reactions of copper(I)acetylides,which do not involve oxygen,have been reported by Castro and Stephens(with aryl halides),and Chodkiewicz and Cadiot(with bromoalkynes).These copper-mediated cross-coupling reactions of alkynes have been extensively reviewed.
