Low-cost biosensors: An inspective application in milk control

Various industrial fields are now interested in the development and application of biotechnologies. In particular, the food industry has long been searching for rapid, simple and reliable analytical systems with which to assure the quality of its products. For this reason, attention has recently been directed towards biosensors. The increasing interest in these instruments is justified by their ability to selectively and continuously monitor specific substances, with good or excellent sensitivity depending to the kind of biosensor employed.
