Statistics: Truck market hits pre-crisis level in Brazil but exports impacted by Argentina's economic recession

Brazil - The Brazilian truck market has returned to the pre-crisis level by registering its best first quarter in sales volume since 2014, according to figures released by ANFAVEA, the manufacturers' association. With 21,464 trucks sold in the period from January to March 2019 (Q1/19), the volume represented growth of 47.7% over the same months in 2018, when the sector sold 14,500 trucks.
