New Flyer joins OppCharge in support of global charging systems for electric buses

Canada/USA - The transit bus building subsidiaries of Winnipeg-based NFI Group - New Flyer Industries Canada ULC and New Flyer of America Inc have joined OppCharge, the global initiative to support interoperable charging systems for electric vehicles. This makes New Flyer the first licensee outside the Volvo Group in North America to join OppCharge and furthers New Flyer's active participation in and support of global charging standards for electric buses and coaches, for both on-route and depot charging options.
