More and more tree companies over the past couple of decades have gone to usingcranes to do tree work. More recently, companies have been buying cranes and have crane operators in-house. If you do tree work the way we do tree work, in residential and suburban areas, most of the time you set up a crane to do a job a power line is nearby. All of this means that we need to be aware of current regulations, requirements and best practices for working with cranes in proximity to power lines.
