Th Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) will replace NICNAS on 1 July 2020 as the new national regulator of the import and manufacture of industrial chemicals in Australia. Under the new scheme, chemical introductions for import or manufacture will need to be put in one of five main categories, each with its own criteria and regulatory obligations.
