The David Brown 900 does not enjoy the best of reputations. We asked Peter Williams of David Brown Parts Ltd. to guide us through the features of this much-maligned model, in a bid to establish whether the claims have any substance. The David Brown 900 was introduced in 1956 to replace the 30G and 30D models. With its French Blue wheels and radiator grilles complementing the traditional Hunting Pink, as used previously, it was an altogether more modern-looking tractor - along the lines of the successful Fordson E1A Major.
