摘要

Other potential prospects include an area near Kuranze (70 km west of the Kwale mine) and an area near Lamu in northern Kenya (340 km northeast of Mombasa). Base Resources is by far the most prominent mining company in Kenya. In fact, it claims to account for about 65% of the country's total mining industry revenue. There have been no lost-time injuries (LTIs) at Kwale since early 2014, meaning that a total of 19.1 million man-hours LTI-free have been worked by employees and contractors over the past five years.
