CHEMOURS: Bright Start to the Year 2020

The Chemical Solutions segment, which has always been smaller and less profitable than the other two segments, has been substantially transformed as a result of a number of disposals of non-core activities, now consists of two sub-segments, Mining Solutions and Performance Chemicals & Intermediates. The Mining Solutions business focusses on making and selling cyanides, primarily for use in gold mining and refining. The Performance Chemicals & Intermediates business focusses on making and selling: aniline, glycolic acid and Vazo azonitrile free-radical reaction initiators.
