The sentences below are under the heading Phonological acquisition among Malay children on page 331: "However, there is a dearth of studies that focus on Malay phonological development. Thus far, only four studies have been conducted to investigate Malay phonological acquisition among Malay children in terms of age of consonantal acquisition and consonant error patterns (Badrulzaman, Lim, & Sandra, 1999; Kartini, 1991; Nor Azizah, 1999; Norhaizan, 2005). These studies however, are limited in scope with regards to selection of participants, methodological aspects and analysis." Should read: "However, there is a dearth of studies that focus on Malay phonological development. In this section, the description of the previous local studies of Malay phonological acquisition is based on the pioneering collective critical review provided by Lim (2010). Lim reviewed small-scale works done by herself, her colleagues and her students in the first Speech Sciences Programme of Malaysia. According to Lim (2010), thus far, only four studies have been conducted to investigate Malay phonological acquisition among Malay children in terms of age of consonantal acquisition and consonant error patterns (Badrulzaman, Lim, & Sandra, 1999; Kartini, 1991; Nor Azizah, 1999; Norhaizan, 2005). And as Lim (2010) has mentioned, these studies however, are limited in scope with regards to selection of participants, methodological aspects and analysis."
