The fourth agricultural revolution is coming to horticulture

Horticulture is arguably one of the UK's most innovative and customer-focused agricultural sectors. Over the last 20 years or so the industry has been quick to take up technologies that lower production costs and improve consumer product quality and satisfaction levels. Polytunnels, raised beds, improved cultivars and the increased use of IPM are just some of the innovations that have been adopted by the sector. Fruit growers and agri-tech businesses now need to be ready for the next phase of development.
