摘要

Slope Monitoring RADARs especially GblnSAR (Ground Based inierferometric Synthetic Aperture RADAR) are now being used for real time monitoring of natural and manmade slopes. IBIS Rover is an advanced type of Synthetic Aperture Radar which makes use of inierferometric principle and has rotating antenna capabilities (up to 270") with a 2500m operative range with an extremely broad coverage area. It has a very high spatial resolution with sub-millimetric accuracy. Considering the above features, this particular RADAR technology has been installed and commissioned at Sonepur Bazari Mine ofECL to study the dump slope stability. This paper presents the slope behaviour of overburden dump in the form of time series displacement. The RADAR data will be correlated with the Geo-technical findings of the dump materials to analyze secondary behaviour of the slope.
