X-rays of the equine toe that are intended to provide information on the toe bone alignment and horn capsule proportions from a side view must meet certain requirements. As explained in the first part of this series, a single x-ray can provide only ageneral overview of the situation. For diagnostic purposes a second x-ray of the same area from another angle is necessary.
