Noel Sweeney is a practising barrister who specialises in criminal law and human rights and animal law. Noel has lectured widely on those subjects and written on all aspects of animal welfare and animal rights. He is a member of the Association of Lawyers for Animal Welfare and the Animal Welfare Science Ethics and Law Veterinary Association and the British Beekeepers Association. Noel is a Visiting Professor in Animal Law at the University of Winchester. His forthcoming book, Bees-at-law, is the seminal work on the subject and covers all areas of the Common Law as it affects the most vital animal on our planet.
