Bleak prospects for french agrochemical market

The declining trend suffered by the French agrochemical market in recent years is likely to continue for the foreseeable future. While the decrease in sales may not be quite so "significant" as in the last three seasons, prospects look bleak at national, European and worldwide levels, said Bernard Charlot, president of the French agrochemical association, the UIPP, at an industry presentation in Lyon this month.
