Jane Molony elected president of the International Council of Forest and Paper Associations

Molony has been the executive director of the Paper Manufacturers Association of South Africa (PAMSA) for nine years. Her first introduction to the industry was in 1996 through her role as publisher and editor of the TAPPSA Journal and later through her appointment as executive director of TAPPSA until 2008. She is a passionate ambassador for 'all things paper', acting as the representative for the pulp and paper industry and lobbying government and stakeholders on common pre-competitive activities, including energy, education and skills development, environmental and sustainability issues, legislation, research and recycling.
