Modeling the process for unloading liquefied natural gas at storage terminals

Transportation of liq. natural gas from tank ships to storage terminal through thermally insulated above -ground pipelines was math. modelled to show effect of the gas compn. and b.p. on the process parameters. A comprehensive hydraulic model of the gas flow in unloading pipelines was developed. A two-phase system was obsd. when the gas contained Al, or when the process was carried out quickly.
