Background: Healthcare quality has historically tended to be equated with patient clinical outcomes such as intervention effectiveness, with a more recent emphasis in policy and academic literature being placed on experiential aspects of care such as patient satisfaction and quality of life. However, in effectively evaluating the quality of a psycho-oncology service in the current landscape, it is important to go beyond patient-focused outcomes and utilise stakeholder feedback to inform service improvement.
