This column I am writing at the end of October, so our Golden Jubilee Conference on the Gold Coast has not happened and we are still a couple of months away from Christmas. I'm sure the conference was excellent and was considered most worthwhile by the delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and partners. Merry Christmas to you and your families and a prosperous but balanced 2006. The business plan for the re-development of the database, website and hardware management prepared by the IT activity group was accepted by the Operations Committee. Implementation should be complete by early 2006 and the many associated improvements and benefits will flow through. Mal Brooks or I will keep you informed of this initiative. A quantitative performance review process has been developed for the Executive Officer and Centre Staff. This process will be adopted for the 2005 reviews of staff.
