Physical inactivity, exercise and pandemic COVID-19

摘要

An overview and analysis is presented regarding the epidemiology and consequences of physical inactivity and sedentary lifestyle, the main effects of isolation, the benefits of well prescribed, advised and performed exercise in various conditions and chronic non-communicable diseases and their interactions, in the framework of the current pandemic of COVID-19.
