Renal impairment in a child with cyanotic congenital heart disease

Glomerular injury presenting as proteinuria and nephrotic syndrome is a documented complication of cyanotic congenital heart disease in adults (1–4) but uncommonly seen in children. It is known to be directly related to the duration of cyanotic heart disease and polycythemia (1). We report a case of 13?year old Indian child with Tricuspid atresia with pulmonary stenosis with bidirectional Glenn shunt presenting with renal dysfunction.
