Simmons EDECO to Carry Out Onshore Drilling Campaign in Mexico for Rennaissance Oil Corp.

SIMMONS EDECO is to execute the 10-well Chicontepec onshore drilling programme on the Amatitlan block in Veracruz, Mexico. In December, 2017, SIMMONS EDECO mobilized Rig 836 to spud the Amatitlan 1649 well and operations are continuing. To optimize efficiencies, the drilling programme will be conducted as much a possible from multi-well pads. Each well will b directionally drilled, targeting the Tertiary sands of th Chicontepec Formation.
