Graphical abstractDisplay OmittedHighlights?The D1structures were the result of compressional deformation caused by crustal thickening.?(D1to D4) and (M1to M4) mutually correlate within the overall structure of the region and correlate with previous studies.?The D1& M1, D2& M2, D3& M3and D4& M4were related to subduction and accretion (2162–1900Ma), collision (forming the Jiao-Liao-Ji Orogenic Belt, ~1900Ma), post-collisional (1900–1840Ma) and the Cretaceous extension events, respectively.
