Most paper and board (P&B) prices in China have continued to climb this month with producers vigorously seeking hikes to combat high fiber costs. Following a modest RMB 50/tonne ($8/tonne) hike right after the Lunar New Year (LNY) holiday in mid-February, a fresh round of increases for all major recycled container board grades started on February 26.
