Shandong Bohui Paper Industry has kicked off trial runs on a new recycled containerboard PM at its flagship mill in Zibo city,Shandong province,China.Dubbed PM 6,the unit churned out its first sheet of board last week.Supplied by Valmet,the machine has a trim width of 9.6 m and a design speed of 1,600 m/min,and is designed to produce high-strength corrugating medium with a basis weight of no more than 140 g/m~2.The company put its capacity at 500,000 tonnes/yr in its initial fundraising proposals and environmental impact assessments reports.
