Daio Paper has announced the successful conversion and expansion of PM N7 at its Mishima mill in Ehime prefecture. At the beginning of Q4 last year, the firm shut the 150,000 tonne/yr coated fine pa per unit, and atthe start of this month, it an no u need that it had restarted commercial production as a paperboard unit. Its present capacity is 25,000 tonnes per month (300,000 tonnes/yr), though the firm had formerly given its target capacity as 360,000 tonnes/yr.
