Another four Adelaide University students have gained an APL-sponsored Undergraduate Industry Placement Award during their 2018/19 academic summer break and completed a two-week period of work placement in SA piggeries.The awards are designed to provide students with a greater understanding of the pork industry and to gains hands-on experience within their host farm's production system.The program has been offered by APL to tertiary students since 2005/06, with the first Adelaide University student placed on-farm in 2008/09.
