Repi unveils new grades of processing additives for polyurethane applications

Additives in polyurethanes are widely implemented to improve aesthetics, especially to cover any inhomogeneities of the product. They are also used as performance aids, to improve heat resistance and prevent flame formation, to reduce oxidation and protect against aging, which are common threats to the physical properties of PU. In a context of increasingly stringent regulations and standards set by the industry, additives are under scrutiny, which are necessary to improve the performance of polyurethane parts and reduce their side effects on people and the environment.
