Transparent PA capacity increase in Germany

Through debottlenecking and optimisation of production,German speciality chemicals and plastics producer Evonik(Essen/Germany;www.evonik.com)is doubling capacity for”Trogamid CX”transparent polyamide compounds at its site in Marl/Germany.Work on the expansion is already in progress and is due to be completed by 2020.The Essen group,which has not disclosed capacity figures for the compounds,said it is reacting to increasing global demand.
