Plastics and rubber machinery imports fall in 2017 / China still leading supplier although share shrinks

The Iranian market for plastics and rubber machinery is cooling down. In the first five months of 2018, German companies exported EUR 15.4m worth of plastics and rubber machinery to Iran, down 30.9% on the previous year. The German association VDMA Kunststoff- und Gummimaschinen (KuG, Frankfurt; https://kug.vdma.org) has published a report on the Iranian market ahead of the "Iran Plast" (www.iranplast.ir) trade fair, running from 24-27 September 2018 in Tehran.
