Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced an economic package worth TRY 100 bn (around EUR 14.3 bn) and containing 21 measures to support the country's markets during the Covid-19 outbreak. The pandemic catches the Turkish economy at a time when it is already weak following the 2018 currency crisis.
