Shenghua Biok up 55% in 2008

Chinese chemical company Shenghua Biok recorded agrochemical sales of Yuan 1,795.2 million ($263 million at the current rate) in 2008, up 54.8% over the previous year. Agrochemicals outperformed the company's other sectors, veterinary medicines (+26.3%) and zirconium products (-1.1%). Agrochemicals made up 65.1% of the company's total sales. Earnings per share for the period were Yuan 0.47 ($0.07), an increase of 56.9% over the previous year.
