Sugar cane borer on Reunion Island: implementation of a biological control programme using trichograms

摘要

This paper discusses the use of Trichogramma species (e.g. T. chilonis) for the biological control of the sugarcane borer Chilo sacchariphagus in Reunion Island. The potential of mass production and release of these parasitoids is also discussed.
