摘要

The biocontrol potential of Paceilomyces lilacinus was evaluated for their effectiveness against root knot nematode, M. incognita in tomato under field conditions. In the present study, the interpretive effect of P. lilacinus (A commercial formulationof T. Stanes with trade name Bionematon) with a Mycorrhizal based product (Symbion VAM plus) was evaluated and compared with the individual effect of P. lilacanius. The results of the study revealed that both products were effective and superior over chemical nematicide Carbofuran 3G in the management of M. incognita in tomato. Further a dose dependent effect of the product on nematode suppuration was observed between the dosage of BioNematon and degree of nematode suppression. In addition there was synergistic effect noted when BioNematon was combined with Symbion VAM plus in reduction of nematode population and in enhancing the yield attributes of tomato. Therefore it can be inferred that the application of liquid formulation consisting of P. lilacinus @ 81it/ha, in combination with Glomus sp. at 25kg/ha through soil application was effective to reduce root knot nematode incidence and maximize the fruit yield.
