Jo Dunkley has produced an exciting overview of the current state of astronomy and astrophysics. It is at just the right level for a school library or a physics teacher's resource shelf. As the author is an astronomer working at Oxford and Princeton, the work has the mark of authority in a fast-developing field. Even if you have a shelf of older books on the subject, this one deserves a place, showing where the work has reached and at a level that can be understood by more advanced school physics students.
