North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has agreed to meet President Donald Trump in person before May, after an unprecedented change in diplomatic relations between the US and North Korea. The talks were announced shortly after South Korean officials visited Pyongyang to discuss denuclearisation options, following the joint Korean participation at the 2018 Winter Olympics, held in Pyeongchang. China's foreign ministry said: "We commend and will support the efforts made by all sides to solve this issue through dialogue and discussion."
