TRADITIONAL SLOTTED PANEL TRUNKING

Traditional slotted panel trunking has been around for many years and is a known and trusted product. SES-STERLING have been producing trunking for many years becoming a market leader in several countries. A major factor that has kept SES-STERLING ahead of our competitors since our beginnings in 1928 is offering our customer base what the current market wants, so the new GN & GN-HF trunking was developed on the back of feedback received from the industry. With the move toward more zero halogen requirement we not only offer traditional PVC trunking but also a PC/ABS zero halogen trunking to fulfil all installation locations. Both ranges come in an impressive eight widths and five heights to cover all panel layouts and utilise our improved manufacturing process which eliminates any rough burrs during the punching process to make the trunking safe to handle without cutting your fingers. We have also noted an increase in retrofit updates to panels which require the removal of the trunking lid usually in confined panels which are sometimes situated in cramped locations. The innovative lid retention system, especially developed for the GN range, gives excellent lid retention (even when the trunking is fitted vertically in a vibration susceptible location). It will not slide down but has the added benefit of finger grips on the side of the lid to allow it easily and efficiently to be removed and refitted, a process that is difficult with several panel trunking deigns where the lid retention has been improved by making it near impossible to subsequently remove the lid for future modifications - sometimes leading to a new length of trunking needed to be installed to replace the by then disfigured one. This factor alone has seen many panel builders insist on the new GN range be installed in all their panels as retrofit has always been a very time consuming and costly process.
