Construction of the Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.Spain,began in March of 1882.Work started under the direction of Architect Francisco de Paula del Villar y Lozano who,due to disagreements with the property owner decided to renounce the work.In 1883,Gaudi takes over the project,giving it a larger and monumental character.During the following years,until his death in 1926,Gaudi collaborates with different architects,sculptors,draughtsmen and modellers,in new architectural solutions.
