Greenbriar Equity Group acquires another MTD 100 dealer

Greenbriar Equity Group L.P.has acquired 18 Lamb's Tire & Automotive Centers stores in central Texas.The transaction brings the number of stores under the private equity firm's GB Auto Service Inc.company to 101 locations in Arizona,California,Nevada and Texas.Terms were not disclosed.Prior to the acquisition,Jim Ramsey was CEO and president of Lamb Ventures LLC,which went to market as Lamb's Tire & Automotive Centers.He is now a regional vice president for GB Auto Service.Lamb's Tire & Automotive Centers is Greenbriar Equity's sixth acquisition in the automotive aftermarket since December 2017.The other acquisitions are: Evans Tire & Service Centers Inc.,18 stores;Tire Works Total Car Care,15 stores;Ramona Tire Inc.,17 stores;Brakemax Car Care Centers of Arizona,which goes to market as Brake Max Tire & Service Centers,15 stores;and Drivers Edge Complete Auto Care,18 stores.
