OOLTEWAH, Tenn.The world of logging can be verycompetitive. When a large tract of timber is up for sale there will usually be several timber companies looking to out bid each other. This can make things tough for smaller logging companies that don't have the resources to compete with some of the larger outfits. Smaller companies have to think outside the box and Lovell Logging is a prime example. Howard Lovell has made a name for his business by buying timber in residential development areas where the tracts run smaller, but the number of jobs are aplenty.
