UPL completes the acquisition of Arysta LifeScience

UPL Ltd, through its 100% subsidiary UPL Corp, has concluded the acquisition of Arysta LifeScience for $4.2 billion. The acquisition establishes the world's fifth biggest agricultural solutions company. UPL Corp took a $3 billion loan from foreign and domestic banks and financial institutions to finance the deal, putting its total debt to $3.8-3.9 billion at present.
