In 2017/18 we expect the increase in world production of 12 oilmeals to slow down from 5% to 3%, primarily on account of the setbacks in output of sun meal and fish meal. Still, at an estimated 351.9 Mn T production will be record high, resulting in a further significant expansion of global usage and keeping the share of oilmeals consumed in the animal feed sector elevated.
