Sri Lanka lifts ban on glyphosate

Sri Lanka Government has temporarily lifted the ban on use of glyphosate-based weedicides by rubber and tea plantations in the country. The ban, which was in force since May 2015, is now lifted by the Sri Lanka's National Economic Council (NEC) for a period of 36 months.
