Rotomoulders nowadays are discussing that the rotomoulding industry is not developing fast enough to adjust the sector to the developments in the other areas of plastic industry. Considering many different aspects of this discussion, we can say that half of the glass is full. There are of course many developments in rotomoulding machines and auxiliaries. In-mould cooling with automatic water spraying, drop boxes, pneumatic clamps, venturi air enhancers, fast mould changing systems, in-mould temperature and pressure measurement, PIAT based machine control instead of time based control, and many others... New raw materials like impact resistance PP, easier to use PA6s, or others like PLA, ABS, PUR, etc. are being served to the rotomoulding industry by raw material suppliers.
