The man who built Indy racers, whipped Ford, and put tire marks on the moon. LAST YEAR, Ford announced its daring return to the Baja 1000. The new Bronco R-a Baja-focused version of the reborn Bronco - was the Blue Oval's vehicle of choice. Squared-off styling, 37-inch tires, and a five-link suspension with 14 inches of front travel and 18 inches of rear travel. A monster. That monster, as it turns out, got its ass kicked.
